I downloaded and played COD Modern Warfare. I was playing single player and it crashed. I stopped playing and went to bed. Next evening I tried to play again and it downloaded an update. Now when I start the game I get “Connection to Blizzard game server has been lost. Please exit and try again.”. I also get the code BLZBNTBGSOOOOO3F3. I have the newest drivers, and all my other games play just fine. COD Modern Warfare is the only game that doesn’t.

Found the problem. For some reason after the patch my firewall was stopping me from connecting. You can delete this post if you like. Thanks

Thanks for following with a resolution to the issue! Hopefully, this may help others running into this issue.

If you are continuing to experience the issue, while the error does look like a Blizzard error, this is not a Blizzard error. This error will appear with the Modern Warfare client, not the Blizzard Application. This is an issue with the Modern Warfare game client and connection to it’s server. If the suggestion here does not resolve the issue, please refer to Activision support for further assistance or the Modern Warfare forums.
