COD MW reinstalling itself after I bought it, but played Warzone

I played Warzone a lot and bought MW so I could get the full multiplayer experience. After buying it, it started to reinstall itself even though I already had everything installed. Also, I see the folder that has all the files for the game, and can even launch it, but it says I need to sign in and I get Error Code BLZBNTBGS7FFFFF01 . Please help.

So the previous thread got locked down (Call of Duty Modern Warfare - Unexpectedly Large Patch (March 27, 2020) - #626 by Frank-24232)

We are closing to a week since the client decided to mess the game files and the only official response is to redownload the game for the 5th time because this time will be the last?
what happened to all the previous times the client updated itself and messed my game files?
New patch on wednesday but no patch for a fix?

If it wasn’t more than 3 months i had purchased the game, i would have already opened a paypal refund ticket
I simply cannot have access to a game i purchased because of the always online system.

I have a similr problem, after playing a lot of hours and buying the game some minutes ago it now wants a complete reinstall, WHY ?!?!?!

Same problem:

  1. download and play wz for free.
  2. buy the game for get more multiplayer expierence.
  3. a ridiculous complete reinstall.
  4. WTF!!??

I just bought MW and I have to reinstall and I was playing Warzone previously. This is BS why do I have to wait hours and hours for another 90GB download…

Same thing happened to me as well , you know what am saying, i got mad about that and i checked the folder, was there 88 GB , i located that folder again thought the bnet app , you know what am saying , and the client just continued to download the whole thing, you know what am saying, i got so mad about that that i just paused the installation ,i still have not downloaded the game because of this, you know what am saying . if i knew i will have to redownload the whole game i wouldn’t buy that crap , you know what am saying , when the previous CoD’s was still on STEAM , everything was so smooth and fine , you know what am saying ,activision stop messing with the games , you know what am saying

This is the third time now that Modern Warfare has uninstalled itself, completely deleting all files 180gb of data I paid for and have downloaded multiple times and yet this program can delete my files without my permission or warning?

WTF is going on here im sick of this.

I have emailed both activation and battle.net with no reply.
