From the battle net launcher I select Cod MW and press play button. Button changes to playing now but nothing else happens. Under my task manager Modern Warfare appears in processes but not in applications alongside blizzard battle net. I have updated the drivers, scan and repaired the game from the battle net application and reinstalled MW but no improvements have been made.

I have exactly the same problem. I can’t figure out what’s wrong, I’ve taken the same steps.

When it comes to Call of Duty, Blizzard Technical Support is only able to offer support for install, patch, Blizzard account, and purchases made through the Blizzard store.
We cannot assist with connection nor performance issues within the game. If the game is not launching when you press “Play”, you will need to contact Activision Support.
