COD MW 2 - black screen after dieing ingame

Everytime when I die during singleplayer… the game goes to black screen and nothing works.

What did I try:

  • Complete re-install of GPU drivers.
  • Update to most recent GPU drivers
  • Update Windows to most recent version.
  • Update the game the most recent version.
  • “scan and repair” option and waited till it was succesfully finished.
  • It does not matter if play 1 min or 2 hours… just when dieing is = game freezes to black screen, sound keeps running.
  • Safe mode doesnt help.
