Can anyone advise how to get operator status in a channel so I can register an API key?
I recall from way back in the day, you could join a channel “Op username” to obtain operator status, however, this doesn’t appear to work anymore.
I created an account called RTNET, and /j op rtnet, but this didn’t grant me operator status of the channel.
Creating a clan is not feasible as it requires 9 people to accept my clan invitation.
Any help would be appreciated. This sounds really exciting and I would love to create a chat bot that leverages this new API.
Edit1: Ah, it looks like op is only functional for d2 users. Will give that a shot.
There should really be an easier option for war3 users to register a bot. Creating a clan is nearly impossible given that it requires 9 people.
Edit2: For anyone who has gone through setting this up, I’d appreciate any guidance or tips you could throw my way. Having difficulties connecting to the connection endpoint. I keep getting a tcp i/o timeout.
