After 2.4 update my necro wont load just black screen. all other characters work fine. joining from lobby says Failed to Connect and cant enter, Help

I am having the same issues. Black screen after hitting enter to play.
What is weird also is that earlier today I created a level 1 toon and I was organizing my bank and that is the only toon that will log in. None of my progression toon’s.

same issue i even went to a different region and was able to load a diff. char but once i tried to switch black screen…

DUDE! I SUPER-FEEL you as I can access absolutely NONE of my offline characters! I keep getting: “failed to join game” on ALL the ones I’ve created. I’m tempted to just eliminate ALL of them & start over to see if THAT can reset the problem. Do I have TOO many characters created (as I like to create new ones with the new items I find with ones’ prior)? What the heck do I do?
Can anyone tell me, if I uninstall Diablo II (it keeps crashing) and reinstall it, will my character still be playable when using the online battle.net?
Unistall/reinstall with most games of ANY type usually results in do-overs. I’m thinking I MIGHT have to do so with MY problem of not being able to access my offline fighters. If I DO, and the results are as such, so be it. If you love playing a great game regardless (like EVERYTHING Blizzard has), then it’s worth it.
