The Battle.Net app—standard version; I’m not using the beta channel—used to display the actual logged-in character’s name when someone in your friends list was playing WoW etc. Now, since a recent update, it just displays the region and server name. This is very much a regression, and it would great if at some point the ability to see what WoW character your battle.net friends are playing is restored again.
