Can't submit a ticket! - SOLVED

I was wanting to post on the technical support forum but after a lot of searching I realize the only answer seems to be to contact support.

When attempting to submit a support ticket, I am only trying to add 102KB of files, one being the DXDIAG, the other being MSconfig.

One is a text file, the other is a png. I converted that to a jpeg to see if it would change anything, still no joy.

The error I am getting is that one of the file types is not valid. I can’t see what I can do about this.

If it’s not bad enough that OW is unplayable, as it crashes within 3 minutes or 3 minutes into a second game, I cannot even contact support either.

Any help is so greatly appreciated.

I’m having the same issue. I’m scanning / repairing the files to see if that helps. There also looks like there are weird fixes some people found on reddit but I’m sure they’ll hot fix it.

I’m having the same issue. I even reinstalled it and it didn’t work.

What’s worse is when I’m able to log back in, I get leaver penalties for my crashed client (this also happens with network issues that are not Blizzard’s fault).

not sure if this helps but seems like a lot of the people affected may have AMD graphics cards.

Also experiencing the same issues, but I have a NVIDIA gpu.

I keep crashing as well

I cannot proceed past the log in screen. Worked just fine two nights ago, but something with the new update is preventing me to log in. My BF is able to play just fine. I have uninstalled+reinstalled, same for battle.net, I have logged out+logged in, I have tried to “scan and repair” the process kicks out at 41% of the scan, I have tried turning her on+off again, all my other games load and play just fine.

I submitted a ticket on this issue but no follow up yet. seems like blizzard is aware (look up swagondabrady on twitter) if you guys make tickets make sure you upload your error logs.

I have the same problem but my brother is able to play on xbox just fine.

having the same problem, the app opens but then shows a message with “blizzard error”

This forum is for feedback on the Support system (support articles and tickets, for example); Blizzard rarely replies here.

For the crashing issue on Overwatch… Blizzard is already aware. See this post on the Overwatch Technical Support forum:

@ XSugarLipsX: As far as I know, both the DxDiag and MSInfo file need to be text files… see details in: Blizzard Support - Obtaining System Files . For the MSInfo, ensure that you export the file (step 3), not File-Save. The ticket submission will fail if you submit a .nfo file… ie, the file obtained with File-Save. The MSInfo.txt file can be quite large… if you get a message that the file is too big, see the blue link under the MSInfo heading.

That being said, Blizzard is aware that many players are seeing crashes. There are two resplies by an Overwatch developper in the topic that I linked above… in both case, it appears that players have outdated GPU drivers.

Good luck with this.

Wow @Boubou you are fantastic! Thank you so very, very much.

I was a little alarmed to come back to this post to see everyone mentioning the same, and knowing that Blizzard wouldn’t be looking here for their posts.

Thank you for the redirection and also for ME as I was going to look for the appropriate place to post my issue today.

Ah both TEXT files, that is where I was going wrong. You have helped me notice the error of my ways (aka speed reading/missing some of the Obtaining System Files post. I was saving rather than exporting the MSInfo. :hugs:

I shall now attempt to submit a ticket, if it works (which it probably will now) I’ll update this as resolved.

Just incase this helps even ONE person, this is my post on MY unique and very temporary fix in the other crash post:

TL;DR: Crash reports sent. Running 4090, graphics drivers updated. Currently running everything on LOW graphics just to stop getting crashes and suspensions.

If wonderful Bruce Wilkie  would bestow upon me the checking of a few crash reports (think I sent 2 of about 10) then I would be absolutely thrilled.

These happened both before and after the season 10 update. Graphic drivers are updated, running a MSI Suprim 4090, i9 13900k, 36GB RAM.

Thus far, the ONLY way I have been able to get the game to stop crashing for me is by putting every setting to low and capping FPS to 145!! - This has prevented MY crashes, at least for the meantime to allow me not to keep getting kicked and having 4 hours suspensions (nearing that new 48 hour one!)

This is obviously not how I would like to play the game especially when having a high end gaming PC.

PS: My Bios is old (2022), bit nervous about flashing it incase I brick MB (electric wiring in house is not so great) but may do if it’s proven that is the issue.
