My Overwatch had an update but it got stuck at 98%. I tried verifying the game files, restarting the PC, turning off Firewall, flushing my DNS cache, all of that, but nothing worked. So then I tried uninstalling Overwatch but I wasn’t able to. Battle.net would say it uninstalled, but it didn’t actually, and when I reopened the app, it would be updating again.
So then I uninstalled the Battle.net app manually and tried downloading it again. However, whenever I launched the installer app, it would say “Whoops! We’ve encountered a problem. Try again later.” I tried all of the solutions on the Blizzard Support website, but none of them have worked.
Now the installer is stuck on a loop where it says “Updating Battle.net…” It hits 65%, goes up slightly, then constantly goes back down to 65%. I left my computer on overnight to see if it would bypass after some time passed, but the next day, it was still stuck in this loop where it would reset to 65%, and I can’t get past it.
I’ve been researching for a week but haven’t found any solutions anywhere that have worked for me. I tried contacting Blizzard support but they just copied and pasted their standard support page where none of the solutions have worked for me. What can I do?
Been having the same problem but it gets stuck at 45%. Submitted a ticket (after obviously trying everything from the troubleshooting faqs & forums) which was closed by blizzard after they basically said ‘sorry we can’t help try the community forums’.
There are older posts with this issue but they seem to be language related, which mine was not as none of the solutions worked/were viable.

Seems to be a recent problem with the launcher/update agent? Literally just started happening out of nowhere and now I can’t play any Blizzard games.
Same issue for me. Started after the last Hearthstone update would not start. Not a single suggested solution on any forum worked. Commenting here, so the post will not close.
I am having the same issue, Mine started after trying to do an update on D4. After uninstalling the client, it will not re-download and it is giving the error code BLZBNTAGT000008FC.
Same problem. Making a new user account helped getting Bnet installed but every game download just gets stuck after few hundreds of MB downloading. Can’t install any Bnet game.
This sucks, I have a similar issue. Overwatch told me I had an update-- tried to update and got an error. Followed steps from error to delete my local data, app data, program data. Updated my drivers. Now I can’t even try to update the game from the launcher. Error code BLZBNTBNA00000006.
I’ve experienced a big of a snag with reinstalling Battle.Net as well.
Uninstalled Battle.net from application list in Windows, deleted Blizzard and Battle.Net related folders from AppData folders and ProgramData, ran Battle.Net installation file but seemingly got stuck at 45%.
Well, it looks like just waiting for a couple minutes allowed setup to complete whatever it tried to do. Battle.Net and its Agent process work again.
I also had Battle.Net completely fail before, to the point of uninstallation not working. Just carefully delete Blizzard and Battle.Net folders and install it again. You can add games already installed on disk back into application later.
