when i message people not in my friend list i get this error (error 7000) and yes i msged people with social features and tried alot .
tried reinstalling battlenet with total uninstaller, checked my acc settings still not working
Edit : 1- tried making a new battlenet account and use vpn still not working
2- tried logging in from another pc and still not working
You already have a topic open about this issue. Something on your end is likely blocking the social connections/ports, as this hasn’t been reported by other players.
Exact same issue here. Can’t whisper anyone in-game or on Battle net (Error 7000 on Battle net). Can only whisper people after they accepted my friend requests. Removing them as friends again will get me the same Error 7000 again. Privacy settings are fine (same as my other Battle Net account where I don’t have this issue at all). Blizzard support has been very unhelpful so far (10 tickets in). Spend the last 7 hours trying to get this resolved without any luck. Please push this forward message forward if you could. Thank you
I can receive whispers in-game and on Battle Net however but not reply to them until I added them as friends (and they accepted the friend request). I have tried reinstalling Battle Net and removing the cache and temp files without luck. I have been in contact with Support and Googling the issue but have not found a solution so far for the past day. Still waiting on a ticket response for a potential soluation/workaround.
what is likely to block this social ports ? i have been playing lots of video games and never faced an issue with chat in any form also pp can send me whispers so how is it blocked
Which game are you talking about? Perhaps the other player has restricted their social settings in their Bnet account. And if you’re trying to whisper the other faction in WoW it won’t work until you are Bnet friends.
Security apps or settings, which can be built into some network equipment. I’m not your network admin, so I wouldn’t be able to investigate that for you.

D4. And no it can not be the case that 100% of 150 players that I have tried to whisper have their social settings restricted. I tried whispering clan members and that does not work either. After adding someone I can finally whisper them and if I or he removes me from the list (for testing purposes) I no longer can whisper the person back but he can still.
Then I recommend reporting this in the D4 bug forum.
It is a battle net issue, it isn’t working in other games either. If you have the capabilities could you please let Blizzard know about this issue.
Still no Solution. BLIZZARD PLEASE REACH OUT. Made 20 Support tickets, NO HUMAN has replied to any of those.
