When I open Battle.net app and click on ‘Update’ in World of Warcraft it just scans for about two minutes before returning an error:
“Whoops! Looks like something broke. Give it another shot.
Error Code: BLZBNTAGT00000BB8”
The same thing happens when I run scan and repair.
I’ve followed the troubleshooting steps and disabled antivirus, etc., but nothing worked.
P.S. Apologies if this isn’t the correct forum category, but this is where my search took me.
Hey, I do meet the same issue with you. Every time I try to update wow, it keeps showing “Whoops! Looks like something broke. Give it another shot."
Even after I do another scan and repait, it just giving me the same error.
Have you guys found a fix for this yet?
I have been having this problem for awhile. After checking my system I realized my GameFirst VI app that choose which running programs have priority over others, the Battle.net and Battle.net Update program were set to low. After switching to high or extreme I’ve no issues. Also check your settings within the battle.net client to set different speeds for downloads. Blizzard needs to update this as a troubleshooting step.

I’m having the same issue; I update it then finishes and I’ve been dealing with this for several times know. I have tried everything. nothing works. I wanted to play with my son that’s far away, this is how we were going to communicate with one another, the message I get is whoops something broke or crashed. are you going to fix the issue or what? this is not professional or how you run a business , there’s a lot of money that’s being spent . you would think a big company like this would fix this .
Yeah I am having the same issue. Out of nowhere I made a new toon and loaded in and it kept DC’ing me and so i tried to repair the game and now I can’t even get the game to repair or uninstall and I don’t know what to do.
In the same boat here… I’ve had the “whoops” issue for atleast 2 weeks now but Scan and Repair has been a temporary fix. Now Scan and Fix, Check for Updates and Uninstall are all greyed out and unable to be selected in the launcher. Literally stuck.
