Can't launch Battlenet after linking gamepass

After i linked my battlenet with XBOX, everytime i try to open battlenet it will just show me a popup telling me to “continue” and it sends me to a “localhost” site where there’s nothing and wont ever load.
i’m stuck in that loop and can’t open battlenet at all. any fix?

Same problem. Hugely frustrating. Some users posting it’s been fixed but I’m still locked out.

A thread about the problem exists here as well. You may post there too, to increase visibility of the problem for the appropriate dev team to fix.

Guys, it’s an issue that they are investigating and trying to fix. There is nothing that we can do right now, except to just wait. This is the response that I got for my ticket:

A Game Master resolved your ticket, and left the following response:

Greetings

We’re currently investigating an issue preventing players from logging in after connecting their Xbox accounts to Battle.net. Our team is actively working on a fix.

At this time, there are no known workarounds. We appreciate your patience and recommend trying again later.

Thank you for your understanding.

I’ve found a workaround! I changed the email address associated with my Battle.net account, verified it and it now works seamlessly. I’ve logged in and I’m downloading the game via Game Pass.

so u completely changed your battle.net account?

It works man!!! Thank you for this!! Can’t believe you figured it out and they didn’t!!

Can confirm updating your email address on your battle.net account to another one you have access to does work.

Seems to be an issue if you already have an account with battle.net then try to link an Xbox account using the same email address, it gets stuck in some authentication loop.

Logged into my Battle.net account through web browser, changed email address to new one, authenticated. Can now get back into Battle.net app and access games with Gamepass. Haven’t gone through hassle of changing my email address back yet to see if it still works.
