Downdetector showing massive spike in problem reports across all Blizzard games - Battle.net, OW2, D4, WoW. Something likely broke on the back end.

There’s a scheduled maintenenace on Bliz services today. 9am to 10am PST.

I wonder how difficult it would be to stick a webhook into the Battle.Net account page on the website for such maintenance announcements. Surprised it hasn’t happened.

Not a bad idea. There is a support page dedicated to maintenance, but people have to know it’s there for it to be useful.

That said, it’s been displayed on my launcher since last week sometime.

I speak from experience: Such reminders are frequently (if not instantly) forgotten. I am not exempting myself from this.

That’s because your BNet is in English US… other languages do not get that “convenience”.

Yeah.

The notices are given in the languages associated with region that is having maintenance.

So if the maintenance is in NA, then all the NA-assigned languages will display the notice.
If the maintenance is in EU, then all the EU-associated languages will display the notice.

So for example,

NA maintenance:
If a French speaking player is logged into the NA region, but the language is set to French, the launcher won’t display the notices (because French isn’t an NA-associated language.)

Another example,

EU maintenance:
An English speaking player logged into the EU region, but the language is set to English (enUS), the launcher won’t display the notices (because enUS isn’t an EU-associated language).

Perhaps that needs to be changed… so that the notice is displayed in all languages supported by the BNet App.

My comment was more for you… your comment about the notice being on the launcher for the last week or so seemed to indicate you were not aware that those notices only show up in selected languages.
