I know that there are multiple topics and discussions about this issue. I am upset about the fact that I have followed EVERY step offered by EVERY Blizzard account about how to solve said issue. At this point, I am simply done with it all. I either want a proper fix, or a refund for my games.
It started when Battle.net stated that it was asleep. When I looked into it, I was told to uninstall then reinstall. So I attempt to, however the uninstaller doesn’t work because shockingly I need to update the app to uninstall the app. HOWEVER, I cannot update the app due to being unable to access the app since it is asleep.
Then I am told to delete every single file from multiple locations on my PC, which I do. I even restart my computer in safe mode and run the uninstaller as an administrator. No joy and it is still broken. When I go to the support website, I am met with a generic AI which simply leads me back to every other post from the Blizzard employees that I have already covered. I am angry and disappointed that I am unable to access something that I have paid for.
All this to say, I want a proper solution to this issue because I know that I am not the only one who experiences it. You are a multi-billion dollar company, you should be able to develop software that works easily, and you should have customer support that is actually able to fix every issue and isn’t an AI.
