I cannot open battle/blizzard website pages, the battle app, or log in to overwatch it self. It endlessly loads and just says “Something went wrong” in the app. As soon as I turn on a VPN it doesn’t have a problem, but obviously, I don’t want to play a game with a VPN and ruin my ping. Here are steps ive taken to try and fix it (which didn’t work):
- I updated my windows
- I updated all my drivers
- I reset and flushed my dns with CMD
- I ran a malware scan
- I used CC cleaner to get rid of all my cache and excess garbage
- I removed all the Blizzard, Battle.net, and Blizzard Entertainment folders/files from %temp%, %localappdata%, %appdata%, and the other directory
- I reinstalled the launcher both on my main drive and on a second
- Ive made sure all of my DNS settings are set to automatic (there have been no changes to my Internet or any of its connections anyway)
Ive gone through every single support guide that sounds like my issue as well as all of the community help with no resolution. Am I somehow IP banned from this website and its related services? I am using a VPN just to submit this. I have tried connecting via ethernet and WiFi.

I cannot use the glass thingy to check my authentication because it’d be on a VPN which isn’t the issue. I was on Overwatch just last night, and attempted to play nearly 3 hours ago from posting this and I realised there was an issue. I’ve spent at least 2 hours and a half just looking up other problems it may be and cannot seem to figure it out.
Help would be appreciated.
