I’ve uninstalled Battle.Net, removed all Overwatch files, and restarted my computer multiple times. I’ve also used the repair tool, and have deleted the Battle.net Tools folder twice.
I don’t know what more I can do to get this download to work.
This is the exact issue I’m having. After the scan finishes it says its running repair update, but the progress bar is “Scanning game files…”. Although my issue only started after 10/13 patch.
same here. i was able to update the game. was able to play some arcade but when i went to play quick play it would find a match but it would not be able to join. after multiple restarts i used the scan and repair tool and ever since then ive been getting the BLZBNTAGT00000BB8 error. tried all the problem solving steps and nothing. reinstalled battle.net launcher. really dont want to reinstall the whole game.
Did everyone here have OW1 installed when OW2 came out?
Just tried to uninstall but seemed to do nothing, reinstall was instant and just had the Update error message again. Uninstalled again, tried clicking the “Find game” button instead and it changed the “Install” button into an “Uninstall” button, which this time actually deleted files. In the process of downloading again to see if it works now.
Edit: Reinstall seems to have shrank the folder size from ~31gb to ~22gb so it does seem like there was something leftover from OW1. No more scan/update errors, though every time I scan it seems to do a very short “repair update”.
Hi, same here. I’m stuck in these “repairing files” loops.
For me, i had a weird sound crash during a game and then no sound at all anymore. So, uninstall, install and now i’m stucked.
completely uninstalling the game and battle.net restarting my pc then installing everything again worked (took 5 hours lol) as a previous poster has said it could be something to do with overwatch 1 being installed
