Cannot reinstall Battle.net Error:BLZBNTAGT000008FC

I tried to install Warzone. Installation did not start, was stuck at start, and download did not start, however I saw in task manager that it was downloading. However whenever I went to the game’s page it was always prompting installation,i.e. nothing changed.
Then I tried to uninstall Battle.net desktop app, but uninstall failed.
I manually deleted all local files as described and tried to re-install Battle.net.

Now when I try to start installation I get either the following error when I should start installation: BLZBNTAGT000008FC and Installation does not start, or I can start installation, but it never finishes, as the percentage JUMPS BACK to a lower number after while.

I found this in the logs:

UPDATE:
Finally I found a solution on the following link: https://us.forums.blizzard.com/en/blizzard/t/updating-blizzard-agent-stuck/2201/4

The strange thing is, that now I can’t find the app in the start menu, but nonetheless it is running.

Hey there bocs,

Thanks for reaching out! I’m glad to hear that those “WMI repair” instructions resolved the issue for you. If the Battle.net Desktop App isn’t showing in your Start menu, you could try re-installing the app again. Otherwise you can manually create a shortcut by finding the Battle.net App install location (default is C:\Program Files (x86)), right-click the Battle.net Application file and click “Create Shortcut”. You can move this shortcut around as you’d like.

If there’s anything else that we can help out with, please don’t hesitate to let us know! Happy gaming!
