so i had a problem with the desktop app not opening or doing anything. So i tried to delete it normally through windows but it did not delete everything. So i went through and deleted all of the desktop app stuff manually off my computer. Now when i try to delete the app normally through windows, it can not delete properly because it can NOT find “uninstaller” i thought nothing of it, sense i manually deleted everything. when i tried to reinstall the desktop app it will not install because it can NOT “verify signature” so now im stuck… cant uninstall, cant install… just needing some help to get the desktop app working so i can update and get back to gaming… here is a list of what i have tried.

I have gone the the “run” and deleted files out of “C:\ProgramData, %localappdata%, %appdata%, %temp%, %programdata%”

Updated all drivers(they were already up to date, but did it anyways)

i tried downloading/installing with all protection off, or if i can find it give it permission(i.e. firewall/virus)

Tried creating another user with admin rights

redownloaded a “digicert”

went through “command prompt” to do “winmgmt” service thing
to summarize i can NOT Uninstall what ever windows is finding for the app, i also can NOT install the app becuase of a “digital signature” thing, and i have done all the above stated
i feel like i have now exhausted what i can do… im just at a lost and of course blizzard tells me to come here… im just trying to get back gaming! any help would be appreciated

Update: Got a little buzzed and impatient(problem also started Friday). I install games on a different drive than the desktop app, but you can reinstall windows without affecting your files; but Re-Installing Windows Fixed the Problem. I was able to successfully download and install the Desktop App and update games and get into them.
