So, I have seen something similar from back in 2019… I have Spectrum internet and have been able to play WoW just fine since July of 2024. Recently I had an issue with the router that required a factory reset which upon completion resolved my issues with the router. That being said, since then I have not been able to log in to WoW.
At first, I was receiving the error code: WOW51900319. I followed the recommended steps from the forums, and it did not resolve the issue and that is when the bigger issues started.
I tried to scan and repair WoW but nothing happened, I tried to disable firewall, nothing happened, then I made the mistake of just deleting WoW to get a fresh install. After deleting, however, I was unable to get the app to download, and it would just stay queued with nothing else pending.
I then decided to delete battle net and now when I go to install battle net again it jumps to 5% and then stops. I have a saved battle net on a portable HD that I was able to move over, but that takes me back to the prior issue of not being able to update or install games.
So then I went full nuclear, doing a full PC fresh install, deleting everything and then I went to install… same issue. So really I just wasted my time and have to install everything else that is still working for some reason all over again and am in the same spot of not being able to install battle net.
As mentioned above, everything was working fine until the router crash on 6/16 and has since stopped working. Any help or work arounds would be appreciated as I could be missing something simple or I need to go back and have then give me a new router?
update So I enabled a VPN and it worked… I shoudn’t have to use one but at least it is working, so I will let my ISP know it is something on their end.
