I’m trying to install Diablo 2 and play LOD for I bit until the new D2R comes out and I can’t use my old school CD key 
? How do in install Diablo and play online today? It’s asking for a 26 character CD key and my old school CD key is 16 character not 24

These are the format of my old CD keys I bought back in the day I just wanna play lol ? How do I play D2 with these old keys ? Or how do I buy new ones ?

you’ll have to enter them into a redeem code option on your blizzard account, after you do they will show up under your games on the website at the very bottom under legacy games
Go to your Bnet account settings here on the website. Find the Claim Code/Key option and claim your keys. Once you have it attached to your account it will generate a new 26 digit key. If you scroll down under your games and subs it should show your new key next to your game name.
Also, be aware of the temp play restrictions if you play on Bnet! Don’t use a VPN or work ISP.
I would love to get a new one, but can’t find where to get them =(
