[Main Thread] Call of Duty games will not launch

Played this game when it came out for a few months, had no issues.

Downloaded the game, the game stays in the small launching screen when I click “Play Game” on Battle.net.

I’ve gone through these steps and still no fix.

Scan & Repair

Uninstall & Reinstall

Changed the name of the game folder.

Updated Graphic Drivers (even though they were already updated)

Updated Windows

Allowed it through my firewall.

Every other game I have I’m able to play with the exception of this one.

The game stops when it hits 667,000k Memory on my task manager and just doesn’t launch. Weird thing is is that I played this game for months after it released. Wanted to come back and wet my feet again but i’ve had nothing but issues.

im having the same issue…im only getting an error message that i should restart battlenet and/or restart my computer

Same here woke up today, seems update is tripping over itself.

Now i have CoD uninstalled, and unable to install also as battlent keeps giving me same error

The game doesn’t start… And it keeps updating infinitely… Please look at this now.

Im getting the same issue then I get an error message and this it restarts never makkes it past initializing.

same issue. It was working fine at 9 this morning now at 1pm its stuck at initializing or queing even though there’s nothing els there

Me too, and on task manager is giving “blizzard error x64”, and yes i tried every solution, but nothing still the same error and still stuck with battlenet doing nothing

this worked for me

  1. Close open Blizzard programs.
  2. Press Ctrl+Shift+Esc to open the Task Manager.
  3. Click the Processes tab.
  4. If agent.exe is running—or Blizzard Update Agent in Windows —select it and click End Process.
  5. Navigate to the folder containing the cache directory:
  6. Press Windows Key+R to open the Run dialogue.
  7. Type %ProgramData% into the Run field and press Enter.
  8. If a Blizzard Entertainment folder exists in the directory, right-click it and select Delete.
  9. Restart the Battle.net desktop app and relaunch the game.
