This happen because they implemented anti cheat and the antivirus detected like a treat for the pc. And they still have cheaters Lol… i’m mad

I agree. Also I with win 7 64bit continue to have game crashes. I tried on another pc with win 7 same problem. On two pc with win 10 no problem and the game runs without problems.

Okay guys. So after Two weeks of lot of work around and fixes, I was able to fix it and able to play the game.
So this has to do with the GAME only. They have some kind of exploit in the game. So Antivirus is stopping the game from loading.
As this game is completely web based, it is getting blocked.
I have K7 Premium Anti-virus (Paid) installed in my desktop.
Even after excluding the exe file and folder from Real time protection, still it is getting blocked. So to my knowledge this has nothing to do with the exe files.
I can manually Enable and disable my Protection individually.
Real time Scanning - ON
Email Scanning - ON
Behavior Monitor - ON
Exploit Protection - OFF
System Monitor - ON
Browser Protection - OFF
Ransomware Protection - ON
Firewall (Application and Rule Filtering) - ON
After Turning off Exploit and Browser protection, the game launched with no problems.
I believe this is completely from the app which is communicating with the web based loadings happening during the launch.
BIOS update or driver update has nothing to do with this.

Hi all. I had this exact same issue. Must have tried 10 different things before I saw a post below about Citrix. I’ve uninstalled it and the game loaded first time. Not had any problems until I updated Citrix and I’m afraid that I didn’t put 2 & 2 together at the time.

that file is cause most of the problems. I can’t play the game since April 21 for exactly the same ntdll.dll
I have web antivirus extensions… I was thinking the same, that the game have some kind of exploit and also, the web extensions. You seem to peobably fix this for everyone.

Seems like a lot of people are having the faulting module path as the ntdll.dll but mine is just the ModernWarefare.exe file. Ive tried numerous things including the following to fix it:
- Scan and repair game files
- Uninstall and reinstall and scan and repair game files
- Increase the allocation of virtual memory on my machine
- Disabled every non-essential service/program running on my computer and launching the game
- Whitelisting the program on my firewall
- Lauching the game using DX11
- Deleting all files related to blizzard/battlenet/call of duty and doing a full reinstall of all these programs
- Updating graphic drivers
I am running on windows 7 and am curious if others in this thread are also, one user suggested updating fixed his issue but I would like to confirm that others are also on windows 7 before trying this. Additionally im not using any active antivirus, nor do I have citrix workspace downloaded on my machine.

I have the same problem as you on the pc with win7. Also to me it displays ModernWarfare.exe as the file that causes the problem. On win10 the game works normally, I am afraid it is just a problem related to win7

lol I come back two weeks later and this $hit is still a pos. i’ll stick to my welding projects.
Decided finally to uninstall AVG, just to be sure that I tried everything, and still no luck. Seems like this game does not work on Windows 7 anymore, although it is listed as a valid minimum requirement!

I’m on win7 and I am having the same issue as you. I also tried all the things you tried to fix the problem and no luck. My friend tried running the game on his win7 PC and he also had the same problem so he updated to windows 10 and it worked for him.
It did however let me play the game one day after locking me out for 2 weeks, on May 4th I played for 5-10 hours before it crashed and the errors began up again.

Okay, so now that we have established that the cause is infact Windows 7, we should try to determine if there’s certain configurations that still work. Windows 7 still has more than 10% market share, so to believe that EVERY Windows 7 user got locked out of the game is unlikely. That’d be millions of players.
I’m running Ultimate Service Pack 1 on AMD Ryzen. What about you guys?

I found a fix for me, hopefully for u too.
I updated windows to 10, I got 7 before.
Now game runs perfectly, good luck.

runs here now too. just updated from windows 7 to windows 10. just made a round. yes and what can i say. it runs.
hope it helps you too. those were 2 annoying weeks. Sad that a billion dollar company doesn’t manage to keep your site up to date. Windows 7 no longer works.

Apparently Raven is aware of the issue (check their twitter and trello, but its been 3 weeks and still no fix… But on the bright side, they added new shine gun bluprints to the stor. It’s a good thing that the developer has their prioritis straight 
I’m also running Windows 7 and can’t lunch the game since 4/22/2021.

Have both Win7 and Win10, tried most of the basic stuff on win7: reinstalled, repair, antivirus off, drivers, bios etc - no luck, but on win10 launched perfectly, so i have to switch every time to play.

Yeah i just updated to windows 10 and now im able to run it without any issues, good luck to everyone else in resolving the issue
