Bought Diablo 4 for my son on 10/16 and now it's on sale

I bought my son the Digital Deluxe edition for $89.99 USD on 10/16. One day before the new season started, in order to get his account set up and have everything ready for the start of Season 2.

This morning we log in and find that it’s on sale, and the version we paid $89.99 for is now on sale for $67.49.

After opening a support ticket, I’m being told that there’s no possibility for a refund of the difference?

Most every other company I’ve done business with has a policy where they price match and/or honor a sale price if you have originally purchased something at full price, then it goes on sale within 10-30 days.

Heck, I even said we’d be cool with the balance going to his battle.net account, so we’d end up spending the money on Blizzard stuff anyway.

I don’t think this is an acceptable policy, and especially not for someone that’s been a long time, loyal Blizzard customer for 20 years.

I would greatly appreciate some feedback and/or help from someone in getting this resolved.
