I installed the latest version of BNet Launcher to play D4 and every few days it reverts to an older version where D4 isn’t available as a “Product” and it is seriously annoying the sh!t out of me.
I have tried completely removing the BNet client from my PC and have also reformatted and it is still happening. How the fk do I fix it so I don’t have to completely close my BNet and reinstall/update every few days!
This is a really unusual issue. There isn’t anything with the app itself that should cause anything like this.
My first suspicion would be a cloud sync/backup service. Onedrive, Macrium, Acronis, Drop Box, If on Mac, Time Machine etc…
If you are using any sort of backup/cloud sync service, go into that software’s settings and make sure it is not set to sync/manage any folders related to the app or game.
Security software could be interfering as well though that would be even more unusual.
So this issue happened again just now and I have actually taken screenshots of my BNet Launcher but can’t post links here apparently so not sure how I can show this?
Essentially when I opened my BNet Launcher it was set to V 1.0.2.42338 and I was unable to see Diablo 4 as a product or click the launch button (blanked out). Updating with the BNet set up file makes the version stay the same but brings in a new UI where I can see Diablo 4.
The swapping of UI is incredibly frustrating and I would appreciate any help in fixing this issue.
I seem to be facing a similar issue and the worst thing is it keeps trying to download something under the Settings > Beta but will always be stuck at xx% Completed without ever finishing. Worse is that I can’t even install Diablo 4 as that will then be stuck at “Calculating Size”.
The Battle.net Version is at 2.22.0.14235
The Battle.net Update Agent Version 2.30.7.8279
I downloaded the latest client from the battle net website
