Doesnt look like they are in a rush to fix it, do like me find other games. I was able to redownload bnet and d2, its verry laggy, i cant enter places with american players. Bliz team is not Bliz north team.

Since today morning Diablo 3 wont work anymore, bnet can’t install anymore ( stuck at 45% ), on 2 computers, even on different internet networks…

This worked for me, I wanted to post the link to give credit to the guy Oleoleo, but I cant post the link to where he gave the solution to this problem.

I had the same stuck at 45% issue since yesterday but got it fixed somehow. Not sure if it’s because of the changes I made or they just simply fixed the bug today…

What I did:

  1. Win+R → %ProgramData% → Battle.net → Agent
    (Basically go to C:\ProgramData\Battle.net\Agent)
  2. Under Agent folder, open ‘product’ file with Notepad
  3. Replace ‘.cn’ with ‘.enUS’ (or you can try just ‘.en’)

In my case I selected ‘Simplified Chinese’ for installation so I suspect it was trying to connect to the Chinese server.

Hope it works.

And it did, it worked for me.

This HAS to be the problem!

I am setting up my wife’s account in Chinese and I am seeing the “logs” showing Region “.cn” as well! But I do not have a “Product” file and changing the logs does nothing… What should I do >.<

I tried opening the product file in notepad but got random characters. So did not work for me, but I find this post (I could not post link but this user named samsong)

hi guys.
I just fixed my problem.
Here is the steps:

  1. go to program delete battle.net fold
  2. win+R
  3. search regedit
  4. find HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Blizzard Entertainment\Launcher
  5. change locale. my one was showing “zhCH”, i changed it to “enUS”
  6. reinstall

This method worked for me! Please try if you had the same issue!

It is a miracle. I put enUS for both default and locale. That just works so smoothly. Damn right!

Running windows 11 pro, battle.net launcher and everything battle.net related stopped working and uninstalled itself, keep getting same issues as above and nothing is working.

I refuse to add any more time to my WoW account until the issue is fixed and i can re-install battler_net launcher.

i have installed battle_net launcher on a different windows 11 computer and ran fine, i then copied it to a usb drive and copied it over, it is now running at the moment

（有些可能没有）
~/Library/Application Support/里面的blizzard 或者 battle net的东西（我已经删了 忘了叫啥了）
~/Library/Preferences里面的这些：
com.blizzard.errorreporter.plist
com.blizzard.Installer.plist
com.blizzard.launcher.plist
net.battle.net.app.plist
net.battle.Authenticator.prefs
net.battle.Identity.prefs
net.battnet.battle.plist
还有
/Users/Shared/Battle.net
最好重启下，不然删了的东西可能在内存里面缓存着（系统小白，说错勿笑）
ok，重启后重新安装，选择英文语言！！大陆服务器已经没了

I have a fresh built desktop and a fresh new windows 11. Installed many softwares and I just can’t imagine it’s so hard to to install the MAIN app for ALL the blizzard games. I don’t understand why there are ANY extra steps required on my side to make this work. and plus I TRIED most of the methods listed above, and none of them works…wow, blizzard, good job. wow

Same here, tried to reinstall after a while and get this.
I have tried the following:
*Regedit
*Change network, reset network
*Deleting any trace to the game
*Running as admin

I checked the Agent’s logs, it’s waiting for user data while updating, but no prompt show.

Me too. Stuck at 45% Codeweavers Crossover MAC OS Sonoma M1 Max. Not sure where this sh*it is broken: Crossover or Battle.Net installer.
