For the last couple of weeks or so, I have noticed when I resume the PC from hibernation or sleep on my PC that battle net fails to reconnect and reports this error. It then means I have to re-enter the password again. I

I have played this game for years and have never had to do this. The client always reconnected without issue. Now every time it is resumed it loses connectivity and requires me to reconnect.

I have followed the steps recommended by the support team of deleting the battle net local directories. It makes no difference. I have never uninstalled and reinstalled battle net.

Has anything changed recently in the client in this area?

I’m having a very similar issue. After resuming from sleep, Battle.net does not automatically reconnect, does not “remember me”, and asks me to reenter my password.

From that point it’s about 50/50 on whether it will manually connect. If it does, it takes a very long time. Quitting and restarting the app generally resolves this, but it’s annoying and a relatively recent issue.
