Kindly refer me to a different forum if this is the incorrect place.
I bought the Blizzard RTS battlechest which is supposed to include the SC2 Campaign Collection, which is supposed to include 4 premium coop commanders (Swann/Zagara/Vorazun/Karax). However, on starting up coop mode I still need to purchase the aforementioned commanders.
Also, when attempting to upgrade to Digital Deluxe, the store informs me that I’m still missing the basic Campaign Collection (I think the store only counts me having Wings Of Liberty as I get the message that I’m still missing Legacy of the Void/Heart of the Swarm)
edit: yes, I’ve restarted Battlenet, the game, and scanned and verified with no errors
edit 2: On a hunch, I tried to click on the RTS battlechest purchase button again, and it’s ALLOWING ME TO BUY IT AGAIN FOR MYSELF, meaning that Battlenet doesn’t think I own the campaign collection.
edit 3: on the battlenet app, the SC2 Campaign Collection is flagged as ‘Price Reduced’, not ‘In Library’, so the store clearly thinks I don’t own the entire collection.
I have the Meat Wagon from Reforged in my WoW. I don’t think you get any other crossgame rewards from this battlechest? I’m trying to upgrade to digital deluxe SC2 because the crossgame rewards are there, the battlechest only has the basic Campaign Collection, which it does clearly state.
I don’t recall it saying that it comes with the coop commanders.
This is what I understood as well.
I do know of another campaign bundle that includes the coop commanders however this is different from the RTS bundle.
Here is a different campaign bundle that has the 4 coop commander that your talking about, buts it’s not the same as the RTS bundle, this one is for $29.99 which is a bundle pack that is just for StarCraft II campaigns.
“Group up online with other players in Co-Op Commander Mode and play as Raynor, Kerrigan, Artanis, Swann, Zagara, Vorazun or Karax.” is under the Campaign Collection description and not the Digital Deluxe section.
Also multiple owners of the basic Campaign Collection confirm that the 4 commanders I mentioned should be included, in this year old thread on reddit r/starcraft2coop: “Ok, so how do I get Swann, Zagara and Heart of the Swarm?”
Under the thread “Beginner question: Do all the commanders come with LOTV, or do most of them need to be purchased?” from the same subreddit there is further confirmation that the basic campaign collection automatically unlocks Swann/Karax/Zagara/Vorazun for play beyond level 5.
Also, the bundle that’s in the RTS Battlechest IS supposed to be the exact same bundle that’s in the Campaign Collection. It literally says “* StarCraft II: Campaign Collection (includes Wings of Liberty, Heart of the Swarm, and Legacy of the Void)”
I’m sorry this happened to you, what does it say when you tried to purchase the bundle I linked? Does it say you already own this purchase (confirmed that it’s the same bundle included) or does it allow you to purchase it as a separate bundle? This would show if the bundles are linked as the same.
From what you’ve told us, it’s indicated that the bundle is not the same.
Blizzard support is the only ones that can fix this issue. What have they said when you contacted them?
It sounds like a Battle.net entitlement or license-sync issue rather than a problem with the game files. Since the Campaign Collection still shows as “Price Reduced” instead of “In Library,” I’d contact Blizzard Support with your purchase receipt and screenshots showing the missing commanders. They should be able to verify the account entitlements and correct the missing license. If you’re also looking for keep that as a separate topic so the discussion stays relevant.
