I have had the Blizzard Arcade Collection installed on both my PC and my laptop for quite some time now and enjoy the titles it offers, specifically The Lost Vikings and The Lost Vikings 2.
The issue I am experiencing is with playing the game when offline.
The thing is, I live in South Africa where the local power provider periodically shuts down power for 2-4 hours at a time up to three times per day to preserve generation capacity (“Loadshedding”). When this happens, I can obviously not play on my PC because of the loss of power. It is for this reason that I also installed Blizzard Arcade Collection on my laptop.
When the power is out, I start the Battle.Net Launcher and Continue Offline (because my Wi-Fi is also down at the time). But when I attempt to play Blizzard Arcade Collection, it appears to want to start, but then immediately exits and returns to the launcher - meaning it cannot be played offline.
The Blizzard Arcade Collection works fine when online.
My question is this: How can I play Blizzard Arcade Collection offline?

Contact Blizzard Support: Reach out to Blizzard’s customer support team and explain your situation. They may have insights or suggestions that could assist you in playing the game offline. They might also be able to provide information about any updates or patches that address this issue.
Check for Updates: Ensure that both your PC and laptop have the latest updates for the Blizzard Arcade Collection and the Battle.net Launcher. Sometimes, developers release patches that address bugs or improve offline functionality.
Offline Mode Settings: Explore the settings within the Battle.net Launcher to see if there’s an option for enabling or optimizing offline play. Look for any options related to caching game data or allowing offline access to games.
Game Configuration: Double-check the game’s settings within the Blizzard Arcade Collection itself. Look for any options that might affect offline play, such as network connectivity settings or specific game modes.
Local Saves: Confirm that your game progress and save files are stored locally on your PC or laptop. If the game relies on cloud saves or requires an online connection to access save files, it might limit offline playability.
