Yeah, I’ve been getting this issue as well, unfortunately the cause of this is from the massive amount of hackers that have broken the game. Many people have gotten this issue with the black market as I’ve also asked many people about it and its sad that the developers have no heart to fix this issue. Just know that you’re not alone in this situation.

I believe it´s due of old black market content expired and game doesnt know what to show to player and it simply crash or maybe something to do with synchronization of cod points with recent cods…
Either way its simply alienating me from cod serie… Time to time I like to come back older cod games to get inspiration to play new ones now when I cant I dont wanna play recent ones either…

I feel your pain man, black ops 4 has definitely been one of my favorite CODs of all time but its a game that didn’t get enough love from the developers and the community. All we have left is to hope for the best in terms of maintenance and patches. I happen to have evidence that its the hackers and cheaters behind this since I remember a cheater that was on the game playing and he suddenly disabled the in-game chat and also booted people out of matches while at the same time disabling the shop and whenever he quit playing everything got back to normal and there wasn’t any more crashes but with this in mind its obvious that the game can’t handle crazy abnormal requests too well.

I agree with lobby bug when hackers is in the game whole lobby often crash (it happen many times with bo3 making it hard to play it). But I thought blizzard would take hackers more seriously than steam but no it seems… Didnt see lobby bug ever in bo4 tho thats why I installed it but its bad when it seems like all the fun cods are gone and we are only left with try hard cods with sweaty snipers (like in cold war, and even that game had crash issue while ago which made me uninstall the game and never return).

I Bought this game about 5 days ago, after playing through the tutorial, I tried to play only to discover this game is DEAD. I sit for 45 minutes searching for a match, and nothing… and yeah, it crashes when I try to open the shop. I am so pissed that I spent money on this game.

I really agree that sweaty and try-hard players ruin the fun for games, just to later get told by them to “get better” like heck I want to have fun not play as if I were in some championship title. Not to mention that I have a life to attend, and I don’t have time to master some sweat infested video game. Everything revolves around money, since blizzard knows that this game is no longer popular, they won’t bother giving maintenance from the looks of it

If you are seeing issues with crashing or for reporting hackers in Call of Duty you will need to reach out to Activision support as Call of Duty is their game. As Blizzard we only assist in installation of the game itself through our launcher. For anything outside of installation and patching you will need reach out to them.
