Beta: can't get past loading screen (MAC MINI)

I can’t get past the loading screen. I can create characters on both normal and pVp regions, but stuck on loading screen. wow beta is crashing my Mac. been using Macs for years and never an issue. tried adjusting setting and shutting down other apps and wow beta still crashes at loading screen

I am having the same problem on M5 Air (also tried M1 Pro), no resources are loaded, game runs smoothly till (and including) character creation. Then loading screen (any racial starting zone). I can hear intro cinematic in the background and then some location sounds, but it never loads into the game, until eventually the app crashes or Mac is frozen till reboot.

I am having the same issue. I am on an M5 iMac. I can create characters just fine. Tried to to a Skyborne and just sat on the loading screen then my Mac froze and rebooted. That happened twice. I thought maybe that area was just overloaded. So, I created a gnome. I actually heard the intro voice narration while on the loading screen but it stayed on the loading screen and eventually my Mac froze and rebooted.

yep, exactly this flow regardless of any settings and setup changes etc.

seems like this is mainly EU issue. i can no longer get past loading screen too

idk if this is helpful. the issue is specific to the WoW Forever beta. it’s working fine for me on the other versions of the game

I got it to work by setting the graphics down to 1. I experimented and put it back to 6 and then it crashed immediately

Same here on an M4 Macbook Pro. Retail WoW is working fine.

I’m having the same issue on m2 pro

Same. I had it all working on launch day, but now after one of the patch updates, it freezes my computer, requiring a full power cycle to resolve. (M2 Ultra 64 Gb, and MacBook Pro M3 Max 128Gb.)
