Battlenet Voice chat issues

Hello, i have been having a problem with the battlenet voice chat in “groups and chats”, every around 10mins i just stop hearing anyone while they still hear me and then after a bit i disconnect from the chat, the only way to fix it is rejoining the chat every 10min and i cant find posts to help me fix the problem.

Hey Jegsaw,

Have you tried any of these steps yet?

yes and the thing is they can hear me and i cant when the problem occurs .

This is often caused by background programs like antivirus security software. Have you tried temporarily uninstalling that software to see if there’s any change? If so, let’s get a DxDiag:

  1. Press Windows Key + R.

  2. Type DxDiag and press Enter.

  3. In the DxDiag window, click Save All Information.

  4. Name the file “dxdiag” and click Save

  5. Paste the DXdiag into the post, select add ~~~~ to the beginning of the text. That’ll make the information much more readable.

It should look like this.

If you have issues pasting here, please use Pastebin and post the link (ex: Pastebin (dot) com/123456).

You are using the Arctis Pro Wireless headset right? Is it possible to try testing the voice chat with a wired connection or different headset to compare the difference?

i have had this problem for almost 2years now its not new and this headset is only a week old, my previous headset was wired and its the same issue

Have you tried testing another network? It’s not uncommon for network issues to start blocking the voice chat (even in one direction). If that doesn’t help, it’s likely an issue with something on the computer and testing another computer would help with isolating the problem. Otherwise, please create a support ticket with your MSinfo so this can be further investigated.

My network is fine am not getting disconnected from the games i play its only the battlenet chat, and this computer is really new.

Even if the game isn’t disconnecting, please understand that the voice chat data goes through a separate data channel which can be affected differently than the game connection itself. Testing another network or computer is simply a way help troubleshoot and isolate the problem. However, there is only so much we can suggest through the forums and sometimes we need to look through the computer system information via the MSinfo, which has personal data that people may not want displayed through the forums. That’s why we suggest creating a ticket with the MSinfo so this can be further investigated. Good luck!
