Since yesterday I can’t install battle.net because it frezees at “Updating Battle.net Update Agent” at 45% and it won’t go any further. I’ve tried every possible solution I could find on the internet, including those posted by Blizzard and people on the forum. What should I do now?
If a VPN fixes the issue, then you’re encountering a routing problem on the ISP network. Usually they clear this up in a few days, but some companies may take longer.
Getting this issue for the 2nd time and while previously I managed to resolve it by following one of the steps suggested on the forums, now none of them work. Literally can’t access the games i paid for…
Few hours trying to solve this problem trying to reinstall Battle.Net. VPN didn’t helped (I’ve tried couple actually). I’v deleted all Battle.Net and Blizzard folders from AppData and ProgramData. I’ve cleaned all Windows Registry entries named Blizzard.something. Nothing has helped.
It’s not even the game itself. It’s a launcher. It has no issues with how it works. It hasn’t even installing.
Now I wondering if I need to play my games that much. Please fix it!
UPD. I’v moved last remaining “account.db” files from AppData folder somewhere else and now installer seems to allow me to proceed further.
I was just hoping to keep logged in. Was I asking too much?
It shouldn’t stuck like this just because of that, isn’t it? At most it should force me to log in from scratch. Argghhh! I’v spent couple of hours because of this
