on reddit I found this solution. I’m going to try it.
" I GOT THE PROBLEM RESOLVED BY DELETING THE SP22 FOLDER (Call of duty > retail > sp22) AND RE-DOWNLOADING IT. "
if you have a nvidia graphics card, try reverting to the controler 522.25, it fixed the problem for me in multiplayer, however the campaign is still unplayable
