Hey there BlizzardSupport,

I am stuck at Checking Versions in Diablo II and I get message, eventually, that Bnet is not responding.

I suspect I may have been banned for using a VPN (with which I connected by mistake - namely forgot to disengage it and later found it is punishable). Would you let me know how long will I be banned and if that ban is possible to be removed on grounds that it was all but intentional.

Hey TGYY,

The play restriction for VPN use is 14 days from the last connection attempt. Be careful not to accidentally do it again or it will reset the timer to the full 14 days again.

Unfortunately, restrictions can’t be reduced or lifted. They just have to be waited out.
