My app never changes/shows what game i’m playing. My friends list is seeing the same thing; i can, however change my status to away/busy and they can see that.
I’ve reinstalled a few times, i’ve also made sure that the battle.net app knows the location of my installed games.
Have you ever found out a fix for this? I only show as Online for my friends and ive been looking around everywhere and cant find anything about it
Would you mind giving more information concerning your issue? Are you saying your friends are not seeing what games you are playing as you have the game open?
For now I would suggest running the app in administrator mode.
If it is THAT BIG of an issue I would recommend opening a ticket and see what they can do but it doesn’t seem worth it.
This might be the most asinine reply ever. The original post is pretty clear their friends cannot see which game they are playing. This is a functionality of the app and if it isn’t working correctly, it should be worth it for the developers to investigate. To brush this off as nothing more than a customer whining is a callous attitude.

I’m having this issue.
I wrote a ticket and took a while for it to get a reply. I tried everything they said and it still doesn’t work… The next reply was suggesting I create a new admin account and try the app over there… I’m not really sure I want to do that. They also didn’t say if I could just go back to my original account or not, so I was confused by that.
edit: Update - I tried creating a new admin account to troubleshoot the problem but still didn’t work. Still looking for a solution for this.
It affects every game that I play. None of them show that I’m playing in my status.

Hi, Nauret. I know ur fix for teh problem is really simple, actually. Please try the following:
Delete all your friends on your flist,
2- Add me and see what game I am playing to troubleshoot the scenariors
3- Once you have followed the steps to minimizing self-centeredness, kk, send me pm and I will tell you if I can see what games you are playing.
4- Debug any roachwes in your cpu=fans, and log all of the corrections on pad and paper.
