Battle.Net desktop doesn't support HTTP proxy on Windows 10

I’m referring to Proxy settings - Manual proxy setup - Use a proxy server (on Windows 10).
Battle.net can’t go online when the proxy server is ON. I need the proxy for Wi-Fi repeater to work (it’s a software repeater on an Android phone that I use to extend Wi-Fi coverage of the house, not a physical standalone device).
I know that Qt library, which Battle.Net client is built on, does support proxy transparently (no work needed from the programmers).

Yes, I would also like to be able to play behind a proxy as our institute forces it on lan.
