I’m experiencing an ongoing issue with the Battle.net mobile app on my Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra (European version), where I cannot connect to friends, chat, or account settings. This issue has persisted for over a month. The Authenticator works fine, but the main Battle.net app gets stuck on “connecting.” Here’s a summary of the problem and the steps I’ve already tried:
Issue:
- Cannot connect to friends list, chat, or account settings.
- App gets stuck on “connecting”, and these features never load.
- The Authenticator works as expected, but nothing else connects.
Troubleshooting steps I’ve tried:
- Uninstalled and reinstalled the app multiple times.
- Cleared cache and data of both the Battle.net app and the Google Play Store.
- Tried connecting with and without SIM cards and on different networks (Wi-Fi and 5G).
- Changed default browser (tried Chrome, Edge, Samsung Internet, and others).
- Reset network settings on my phone.
- Verified that no VPN or firewall is enabled.
- Ensured that the Battle.net app is excluded from battery optimization.
- Booted the phone in Safe Mode, but the app does not launch in this mode.
- Contacted Blizzard support multiple times, but the ticket was closed with generic troubleshooting steps unrelated to my specific issue.

- OS: Up-to-date as of September 2024
- Battle.net App: Latest version from Google Play Store
Given the extensive troubleshooting I’ve already performed and the fact that this issue appears to be specific to either my account or device, I ask for this issue to be investigated by developers.

same situation here… also means that we can’t use the autheticator…
Amazing company. This forum is filled with complaints about this small indie company’s Android app being completely non-functional, and they just don’t care. In fact, their “”“Support”“” refers people to this forum instead of doing anything, so…why? So we can all be miserable here together, I guess?
Would love to be able to name my groups in WoW, but I guess that’s a luxury we can’t have. Time to buy a new phone just for Blizzard and its amazing coding, I guess.

I have a samsung s24 ultra and have the same issue. I also have a samsung a53 and it works great on that one. I tried all the fixes and nothing worked. I put a ticket in and they basically just told me to post here… typical blizzard option when they know nothing

Having the same issue, iPhone 15 yesterday my chat randomly stopped working and will no longer connect. All other functions, Authenticator and store work. Just no chat which blows…

Yup, same for me. Samsung Galaxy S22. Even tho i don’t think its Hardware related. Hope Blizz can fix my Accounts so I can Chat with my friends again.

Same issue as op, I dont like being without 2FA and I am hurt and cant play this month and this forum does not give me hope it will start to work, might aswel unsub and scrub all sensitive info from the account.

I’m having this issue no matter how many times I clear my cache on both chrome and battle.net android app, I’ve changed my password per support and still getting the same issue where it just shows “Connecting…” after I login to the battle.net app on android.
I’m using a S23 Ultra with the latest version from the play store, which says was late updated on Nov. 13th, 2024.

I, too, am having this problem and have been for a week now.

Same issue tried all possible fixes on my end it still refuses to connect it has been this way since the maintenance of 11/12/2024 it connected and worked before then luckily it has not locked me out of the authenticator.
Yeah rocking a S21 ever since the latest update recently i cant even properly connect to the battle.net app tried everything been playing without an authenticator till this is fixed
