Battle.net App keeps asking me to restart and update, but nothing is updating. the version number for both battle.net (2.13.1.13521) and update agent (2.27.0.7779) remind the same after multiple restart of App and PC. I tried to reinstall battle.net App, the update notification went away for a while and came back again.

I’m using the Beta version and it’s been doing this non-stop for days now. Each time I restart it comes back up as the same version (so there is no update happening). This occurs on both Mac and PC.

Yea I had a feeling this was it. If I leave the app open (Not Minimized) it doesn’t do it very strange. I tried to send a bug report and it won’t send it just stays trying forever.

I don’t minimize the app on either my Mac or PC. It does get put into the background, but never minimized. Sometimes it pops up saying there’s an update RIGHT after a restart, sometimes it takes 4-6 hours, but it always comes back.

Same issue on both my PC and my girlfriends. What exactly is being updated? I’m assuming it has to do with Diablo Immortal since this wasn’t an issue prior to its release.

I too had the same problem but, after a zillion updates in the last two days… last night’s update seemed to do the trick. It stopped asking me to restart and upgrade the Battle.Net App… hopefully, this is the last of this issue.

As soon as I removed Diablo Immortal from the favorites list it stopped. Go figure. Immortal just bad all around. lol
