Battle.Net App issue

Hi there!

My problem is for about 3 weeks, that every time i restart my computer a battle.net app couldn’t start.
Error message is:
Battle.Net Update Agent went to sleep. Attempting to wake it up…
BLZBNTBNA00000005
If I uninstall the Battle.net app, and delete the remains files from Program Files and Programdata directories with hand, and then reinstall the Battle.net app, its working until i don’t restart a computer.
Please may i get some advice what can i do for not to reinstall the Battle.net app every day?
My drivers is a latest versions, and my Windows up to date too.
Thank you.

Hey there Ayola,

Thank you for reaching out with these details. It sounds like a problem with the Windows installation or a third-party program is re-corrupting the Battle.net files. Many potential problems related to your installation of Windows can be resolved by creating a new administrator account, logging into it, and trying the Battle.net App there.

If the Battle.net App only works consistently on the new admin account, this could indicate damaged or missing Windows system files or an issue with how the old user account is configured. This is somewhat common, and the easiest fix is to move any user-specific files that you wish to keep from the old user account to the new admin account. You can also work with Microsoft’s Support to troubleshoot the problem with the old account if preferred.

Also, be sure to fully update or temporarily uninstall antivirus programs which may be interfering with the Battle.net App. More information on troubleshooting security applications here, if curious.

Hopefully, these steps provide relief. Let us know if you have any questions going forward!
