Note: I am talking about the battle.net application (not game downloads). Both systems were on 20-ish MBps connections (yes, megabyte).
Is it normal for the battle.net installation software to take upwards of 20 - 30minutes? I have reinstalled this app on 2 different PCs in two different cities of Texas and it takes an extreme amount of time. One of the PCs is store-bought, but the other was custom made by the owner and has fairly decent specs (ryzen 3900x, 32gb ram, 1TB 970 evo plus, etc). They both exhibited very similar behavior whereby the CPU/RAM usage of the battle.net installation was low (basically single-core for everything).
Google searches are not doing me any good because people often are talking about download speeds when that does not seem to be the case here - network activity is low as well.
