the game is “playable” but never actually opens the game and goes back to “play”

if the game, literally, won’t open…I’m not sure passing the buck to Activision is appropriate in this case.

In general, if you can click “Play” on the Battle.net application and the game tries to launch, that’s the end of where we can help you - since the game data is on your PC at that point.

The game launching on your PC is an issue to work out with Activision’s support. Blizzard’s staff won’t be able to troubleshoot conflicts between your PC and the game software.
