Battle Net icon in task bar not working

Anytime I open Battlenet, it shows a blank page for the icon in the task bar. It is not pinned and i use a shortcut on my desktop to open battle net. I have tried using the actual .exe files to open it as well to no luck. When i right click on the icon, and click the white page battle net, there is a pop up saying that the drive or network connection that the shortcut ‘battle.net.lnk’ refers to is unavailable. i have tried uninstalling and reinstalling battle net and have also uninstalled my antivirus. any help?

After messing with it for an hour, i tried before turning off my computer and it had a pop up that had a browse option. i clicked it, then realized i should have waited and panic clicked the battle net .exe. so now i dont get a pop up at all and its still just blank. Now when i right click the icon, then click the battle.net it just opens the app. so any ideas on how to reset that and then fix it XD

Good lord, thank you for spelling it out for me. My dumba** wasnt “right” clicking the blank battle net page after i right clicked on the shortcut. Problem solved. Thank you so much!

your dumasier saved my dumbass. Didnt realized i was left clicking either. Thank you! Seems like my issue was cause i changed the letter of my drive to J and the battle.net property was still looking for my D drive for the icon. idk
