i have gotten a permanent ban on my account after it has been compromised. i sent a ticket with PROOF of my account being compromised and i was hit with an automated response meaning no one took the time to read my appeal. it is not okay to take away the accounts of innocent players, blizzard. please fix this issue

An “automated response” (usually not at all automated - that is an assumption on your part and a chestnut too many complainers use) does not mean no one read your ticket.
They just decided not to bother engaging with you, and just reiterated your punishment. -

No, it is not a cheat to send someone legitimate gold. Using gold that was illicitly obtained from third party gold sellers is though. If you receive illicit gold from a gold selling account then your account will be penalized. I am guessing your friend gave you illicit gold, not gold they earned playing the game.
well you tell blizz that they sup. my account for it i had a friend come back to the game last year he needed a helping hand with thing in game so i gave him gold to help him out lvl up his prof. so he wouldn’t have hard time in game my account got band for what blizz saying hack an cheating i am trying to fight that one but i started up an old account lvl up 4 toons to 80 he asked me if i need help i said sure he sent me my gold back that i had sent him next thing i knew next day my account was sup. like wtf
