Ban for technical issue

Hey everyone,

I was just mid-match in a competitive game when I was suddenly booted to the main menu and hit with a ranked ban.

My internet connection didn’t drop at all-my discord call stayed live, web pages loaded instantly, and a speed test showed my normal ping and speeds. It seems like a pure server-side drop or a routing issue between my ISP and Blizzard.

Is anyone else experiencing sudden drops today, or is there a known server issue right now? Also, is there any way to get this automated ban looked at when the local connection wasn’t at fault?
