Can y’all please rein in the rampant memory usage by Agent?
I took a screenshot, but I don’t see a way to embed it here in the forum… Activity monitor looks like this:
Agent.app|5.51 GB|30|180|2414|Intel|david|0.7|30:22.75|0|0.0|0.00|0 bytes|0 bytes|0 bytes|No|No|No|(null)|No|0 bytes|0|0 bytes|0|0 bytes|0 bytes|-|0 bytes|0 bytes|No|(null)||
| Agent.app|2.63 GB|30|158|733|Intel|david|0.6|25:55.82|0|0.0|0.00|0 bytes|0 bytes|0 bytes|No|No|No|(null)|No|0 bytes|0|0 bytes|0|0 bytes|0 bytes|-|0 bytes|0 bytes|No|(null)||
| Agent.app|2.35 GB|30|135|2382|Intel|david|0.8|22:53.20|0|0.0|0.00|0 bytes|0 bytes|0 bytes|No|No|No|(null)|No|0 bytes|0|0 bytes|0|0 bytes|0 bytes|-|0 bytes|0 bytes|No|(null)||
3 processes. Over 10Gb of ram used. I classify this as “excessive”. While you are at it, please explain why this hasn’t been re-compiled as a Universal Binary so it runs native on Mac Silicon? (WoW client works great with the ARM build, much better than Intel, but the Bnet app runs like garbage as Intel-only.)
I had to reboot the computer 3 days ago, so there is no reason for this to happen except as a memory leak.
