Blizzard, before i do a chargeback i want to know how i get my money back for mindnight, you promised access today and it doesnt work, like all things you do. I dont want to be your customer i just want my nmoney, before i do a charge back how do i get service and a refund.
i paid for early access also. Have reported this company to my state AG for fraud.
Early Access doesn’t happen for several weeks (and that’s just for housing, Midnight early access won’t likely be till late Feb seeing as the launch is March), you’re confusing midnight beta access with early access, which it is not. While beta access is part of the fancy pre-order, it never says what day or when you’ll be able to. You’ve not been lied to, you just didn’t understand what was said.
Beta tests are exactly that, players testing the functionality of the current version of the beta client. Beta means it is not ready for release yet, so there will be login errors, quest errors, errors of every imaginable kind, that’s what beta testing access involves.
Seriously? are you a BRAND new player? have you NEVER pre bought the game before and tested it? there was NEVER a promise of it being RELEASED this year, its ALWAYS been scheduled for the beginning of 26. EVERYONE knows this, if you pay attention. i have the attention span of a gnat, yet even i knew this. when you log on to the launcher and go to play the game, the top drop down bar would say MIDNIGHT, not BETA. Alpha wont come until late december , that is when more testing happens to find more bugs from previous fixes. Games liek this do not go PUBLIC until its as smooth as possible and and clear as possible. every player has issues with every game they play, what they lack is the ability to change a game to their liking. My suggestion, if you thinkj you can do better, then go get hired by Blizzard and show them how to do it your way, otherwise, shut up, play the game or dont, nobody really cares. and your money is gone, you wont get it back because you are too stupid to read. sorry bout your luck. have the day you deserve.
they have to refund it if it hasn’t released yet, but good luck on actually getting the money back before it does, they will show a refund but then hold on to your money as a punishment (maybe they don’t realize it is immoral and highly illegal to do so).
Blizzard does not hold the money. As soon as they grant the refund that request is sent to the bank. The hold is the banking industry that can take 7-10 days to release funds back to the customer. Depends on your payment method. Some are faster than others.
Blizzard’s refund system is partly automated. If a purchase is within the Refund Policy the system will automatically grant it.
In the case of several posters in this thread, they don’t seem to have understood what they purchased and what they bought. The game is slated to be released no later than June 2026 by the terms. It will be released before then.
- Every pre-purchase of a digital edition of Midnight got Early Access to housing on Dec 2nd as promised.
- Every Epic Edition digital purchase on the shop will get Early Access by up to 3 days before Midnight release to the Midnight expansion. The official release date is March 2nd 2026. Well before the June 2026 in the purchase agreement.
- Anyone who bought the physical box Collector’s Edition won’t get a key until the box ships which will be near release. The terms of purchase on the Shop for the physical edition, states that the digital features won’t be granted until the box arrives and early access (the 3 days before actual expansion release) may be impacted.
- The work around for physical collector’s editions is to purchase a digital copy on the shop so they can use the early access/pre-purchase features like housing, then when they put in their CE key Blizzard will refund the digital copy to Battlenet balance.
The OP of this thread was just really really confused or disingenuous.
