I recently got suspended on my account. I haven’t gotten a response to my appeal ticket, heck I don’t even know if my appeal even went through. I feel like I haven’t done anything to warrant being suspended. Especially given the fact I had a game where people outright said they were gonna false report me to get me banned only because I main non meta heroes and they didn’t even try to win with me in the game. This just felt like they were abusing the report system and I don’t feel like I was rightfully treated in this I have been suspended before and I haven’t tried to appeal it but this time I find it unfair and I shouldn’t be locked out of playing…especially after the 3 hours of toxicity I had to endure the day before I got suspended. At this point I just want a response to this appeal. There’s no real way to contact Blizzard without getting shoved around to random “categories.” Has anyone had similar things happen to them?
I completely understand and share your frustration, Vanny. I’ve had my own issues with Blizzard’s reporting and appeal system, and it’s incredibly disheartening to feel like you’re shouting into the void with no meaningful response.
In my case, I’ve dealt with account suspensions where I wasn’t given any specifics about what I supposedly did wrong. I submitted multiple tickets asking for clarity, but all I got were generic replies directing me to the Code of Conduct and EULA. It’s impossible to learn from a mistake—or even confirm one was made—when the system refuses to provide the necessary details.
Like you, I’ve seen players weaponize the report system, and it feels like Blizzard’s automated enforcement doesn’t account for these situations. The lack of accountability and transparency in their process leaves players like us feeling powerless. It’s exhausting to have legitimate concerns dismissed or ignored altogether.
You’re absolutely not alone in this. I hope Blizzard starts listening to players and making meaningful changes to their support and reporting systems because these experiences are driving loyal players away. Hang in there—your frustration is valid, and there are others like you who understand exactly how you’re feeling.
Best way to deal with this personally and with Blizzard is to use their data retrieval to get your account data. You can use this to see your chat logs. The best way to appeal after using the official appeal button is to use the “account hacked” button. Submissions in this ticket both receive responses and effectively answer your question. I will be fully upfront. You will 100% not get this overturned. I can’t post links or else I would help you find out how to do both of these more effectively.
No, that is not a way to appeal. That is for use if the account is actually compromised. Abusing the ticket system with false tickets can get the Battlenet account actioned, so keep that in mind.
Please do not encourage people to falsely report their account compromised.
Here is an example of someone yesterday … Blizzard knows they were not compromised.
Why can’t I get replies to my tickets? I have submitted 3 tickets in the last 4 day and have gotten no responses.
