Please help, it won’t let me submit a ticket, i click submit and it pretends like it’s going through but when i go to “my tickets” it’s empty like what is happening?!?! I have credit card numbers and every email since the account was made but they want ID like why? I never sent my ID to the account and used a fake name. mfdoom#11529 was the account name.
When making a Battlenet account there are some requirements that you agreed to. One of those was to use your real name.
When you create or update an Account, you must:
- provide Blizzard with accurate and up to date information that is personal to you, such as your name, address, phone number, and email address.
In cases where an account is compromised, a security measure needs to be changed (Authenticator removal, password/email change through Support), - Blizzard verifies that they are only granting access to the registered account holder. That is why they use ID.
If a person did not register in their own name and does not have ID then granting access again may not be possible.
Credit card info is not primarily considered in account disputes. Blizzard generally allows anyone to use any valid card to pay for things.
When you put in a ticket for account assistance you will want to explain the situation and see if there are other means of verification they will accept. It is unlikely, but worth trying.
