Account Ban Issue - Request for Clarification

Hello Blizzard Support

I hope this message reaches you well. My Blizzard account (ID: hinata#22296) was recently banned after 8 days for alleged use of cheats or hacks. However, I assure you that no such actions were ever taken. I have been a dedicated player, spending approximately 10 hours a day farming herbalism and mining, but I always played within the game’s terms and conditions.

The only software I had running besides the game was ExitLag, which I use to reduce latency. I believe the extended hours of farming may have mistakenly triggered your system to flag my account.

I have already submitted an appeal, but unfortunately, it was rejected, and I was informed not to appeal again. I am very disappointed as I believe the ban was a mistake. I kindly request that you take a second look at my case. I am more than willing to provide any necessary details to clarify the situation.

Thank you for your time and consideration. I really hope for a positive resolution so I can continue enjoying the game.

Hey hinata,

Appeals are only handled through the appeal ticket system. The second-looks (and beyond) were each of the resubmitted appeals you sent in.

And unfortunately, if you have exhausted that route, there’s isn’t a way to contiue.

Hey Leviathan,

Thank you for your guidance
I have done it, but they copied a text and sent it to me
But I’m sure Blizzard’s anti-cheat system banned my account by mistake

And they reject every request I make - also the online chat is always inactive and I have no way to defend myself.

Please help me to communicate
(If I had made a mistake or fraud, I would not have been followed up so much, and I want to return to the game if my account returns, and I do not intend to buy a new account)

Like I mentioned above, there is no way besides an appeal.

And if Bliz has said that no more appeals will be accepted, then that is as far as you can go.

3 hours ago, a game master replied : Your case has been reviewed and the actions were found out to be applied correctly as the final decision is upheld and we have found no traces of account compromise at all. Any further details regarding this case will not be reviewed and/or discussed.

I think it was the 6th time such a message was given.(they copy paste all same replied)

If I get a new account, how do I know that Blizzard’s anti-cheat system doesn’t flag my account by mistake? This is a big weakness of Blizzard that unfortunately players suffer from this. Most likely, we should look for an alternative game because they have poor support quality (Blizzard company). Anyway, I am still following up on this unfortunate incident for my contacts on YouTube and Facebook.

I hope Blizzard can take more care of the players and respect them :slightly_smiling_face:

You have to do an investigation into all the software that is running in memory at the same time as a Bliz game.

Look for anything that could be considered suspicious and uninstall it. If you were not having any problems before you installed ExitLag, uninstalling it might be a good start. Uninstall anything that automates or streamlines play. For example, multiboxing apps, hotkey apps, macro apps, automation apps, etc.

False positives do happen, but they are extremely rare. Meaning, the vast majority of the time, the cheat detection is correct.

Not liking an answer doesn’t mean it is poor support. Like most, Bliz doesn’t like having to say “no” to players, but sometimes that is the answer.

This is factually incorrect, I’m afraid.

Correct, but cooypasta/rubber-stamping is not good service, no matter who you’re referring to.

Opinion does not equate to fact, Mattelot. Your “advice” isn’t helpful.
