A required DLL could not be found

I also encounter the problem of lack of DLL and can’t start the client. Is there a solution?

Same issue, win 10.

After running the installer, I still get the message: ‘A required DLL could not be found.’ At this point I already deleted the whole Battle.Net folder.

@rédempti : Bonjour,

:slight_smile:

Bon jeu !

A customer service rep has yet to post on here and my ticket is still hanging. Yet they will reply to you on Twitter, granted it was a copy+paste response. It appears they care more about social media right now

so everyone is having the exact same issue? this started 2 days ago, when battlenet froze when it was loading up. so i deleted it and reinstalled it, and thats when i ran into this issue. i also have tried everything but no luck. when i reinstall battle.net, it gets to 100% install, says updating, but then the error pops up saying missing dll required.

It seems that I am not the only one who has encountered this problem. I hope Blizzard can fix this problem as soon as possible. Another post said that deleting 13360 folder can fix this problem, but my folder doesn’t have this folder. I only have 13434 folder. I can’t solve this problem by all means. I hope to fix this bug

Thanks for letting me know that an OS reinstall does nothing since I was about to do that next after I’ve backed up my files.

Another good example why locking a game (even single-player one) behind a useless online clients is wrong anti-consumer move. I bet games themself would run with no problems and this is all just because of this sad battle.net client …
